Matt LeDucq
  • 15+ Years of experience in renewables business
  • Overseen $5B+ in transactions in EPC, OEM and long term investments

Prior to becoming President of Forum Energy Partners, Matt was the Executive Director of NextEra Energy’s distributed generation team where he oversaw all greenfield origination, land acquisition, early stage development and M&A. His team built the distributed generation pipeline to nearly $2B in owned assets. Matt has also held various leadership roles with Suntech, Yingli, EI Solutions and PowerLight where he started his career as a construction manager in 2003. He holds a BA from University of Hawaii at Manoa.

 

Tom Dodson
  • 20+ Years of experience in thermal & renewable power projects
  • Licensed contractor & professional engineer in 20+ states
  • Civil Engineering Degree from Cornell University; Masters Degrees from Penn State University & the University of Florida

Prior to co-founding i1 Energy (now Forum Energy Partners), Tom was the President of Amec Foster Wheeler Power division, which he grew from $1B to over $1.8B annually. This growth was driven by focusing on integrated engineering and construction services, notably turn-key renewable projects; and his commitment to people and partnerships.

Topher Wood
  • 13+ Years of experience in renewables
  • Over $2.5B in executed solar EPC project experience
  • Manufacturing Engineering Degree from James Madison University and a Masters in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology

As Co-Founder of both i1 Energy (now Forum Energy Partners) and Amec Foster Wheeler’s Solar EPC Group, Topher has led and grown one of the largest Solar EPC portfolios in the country. His dedication to project quality has proven successful, garnering repeat customers across regulated utilities, the military, as well as some of the largest third party financed projects in operation today. Prior to solar, Topher was supply chain and quality engineer for Toyota Motors.

Bobby Batista
  • 10+ Years of experience in solar development & engineering management
  • Over 1.5GW of solar project experience
  • Known for creating & optimizing best practices for performance, engineering and equipment that become industry standards

Prior to co-founding i1 Energy (now Forum Energy Partners) and Amec Foster Wheeler’s solar group, Bobby led technical development efforts for some of the early solar PPA projects and worked for Lockheed Martin’s Solar and Astrophysics Laboratory. He has also been the lead engineer for some of the largest projects in the US and Canada, optimizing the design and performance process to create $100s of millions in value to project owners. Bobby holds a mechanical engineering degree from Stanford University.

He leverages past roles in solar design optimization, PVSyst performance modeling, asset management and operations, and finance to understand customers’ needs, develop intelligent solutions, and build durable client relationships. He graduated from Northwestern University and received an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Carter focuses on developing systems that provide repeatable, sustainable results. Starting at SolarCity in 2012 followed by positions at NextEra and Swinerton, he has progressed from residential to commercial to utility-scale solar design and project management. Jake excels at bridging the gap between technical and non-technical parties involved in every aspect of the business. Jake acquired his PE license in Civil Engineering from the State of NC in 2020 and holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Mr. Kane has a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Iowa State University.

Prior to joining Forum Jehremy served as a Project Engineer for Wood’s EPC unit working on solar projects ranging from 5 to 700+ MW and traditional industrial projects in both pulp & paper and coal-fired power generation. Jehremy’s EPC background includes field engineering (civil, structural, mechanical, piping) and project engineering with a heavy focus on Project Controls.
